1Overview / Intergovernmental Agreement
CONVOY Judicial Transport, Inc. provides a platform that allows agencies to create transports and request transport services provided by officers of other agencies. Agencies can add officers to the platform to complete transports created by other agencies. By your using Convoy as a Transport Driver, User Agency or Employer Agency you acknowledge the creation of an inter-governmental agreement by and between the User Agency and the Employer Agency by which the Employer Agency authorizes its employee, the transport driver responding to the job posting on Convoy’s software by the User Agency, to perform the transport of the prisoner wanted by the User Agency.
2User Accounts
2.1To access certain features of CONVOY Transports, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.
2.2You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3Transport Requests
3.1Agencies may create transport requests through the CONVOY Transports platform. Transport requests should include accurate and complete information about the pickup and drop-off locations, transport dates and times, and any special instructions.
3.2Officers may accept transport requests based on availability and eligibility criteria set by their agencies.
4Officer Assignments
4.1Agencies are responsible for assigning officers to complete transports created by other agencies. Officers assigned to transports should have the necessary qualifications, training, and approvals required by their agencies.
4.2Agencies and officers agree to communicate effectively and coordinate transport details to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
5User Conduct
5.1You agree to use CONVOY Transports for lawful purposes only and to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
5.2You agree not to engage in any conduct that could disrupt or interfere with the operation or security of CONVOY Transports, including but not limited to hacking, spamming, or transmitting malware.
6Intellectual Property
6.1The CONVOY Transports website, platform, and all associated content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of CONVOY Transports or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use CONVOY Transports for its intended purpose. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on CONVOY Transports without prior written consent.
7Disclaimer of Warranties
7.1CONVOY Transports is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that CONVOY Transports will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
8Limitation of Liability
8.1In no event shall CONVOY Transports or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of CONVOY Transports.
9Changes to Terms
9.1We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of CONVOY Transports after the posting of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
